First Moment
My friends and I were overwhelmed by life and the changes we were moving through. I wanted to prepare something we could do together, and I needed that pause too. I brought in a rice blessing, incense, and sarongs. We wrote down what we wanted to release, then burned those papers together.
What stayed with me was how close we felt. It helped me see what I wanted LURUH to be: less gimmicky, less performative, and more about practicing care together. A place to be honest about what we carry, and to feel that we belong.
