Our first gathering on the Seaport waterfront: movement, flowers, a rice blessing, and Balinese dance. Hands held in the rain, embraces in the circle, and a rainbow over the harbor.

A flower-water welcome, warm broth, and a table of roots to explore. We made jamu with our hands and ended by seeing one another through charcoal drawings. Long after we finished, the conversation kept going.

Yes. LURUH is a space to meet and connect with other women. You are welcome to arrive on your own.

Do I need experience with the practices?

No prior experience is needed. Practices are introduced with guidance. Check individual event descriptions for any specific requirements.
